Hollowed Lightbulbs

Isn’t it delightful? (No pun intended.) Over at TeamDroid, there’s a tutorial written by Mr John on how to hollow out and clean your own dead lightbulb and as an example of what crazy tasks you can put these recovered shells to, he made a “neo-Victorian New Age Flemming like valve” above. While I still hold out thin hope that he’ll write up that tutorial for making this trinket, I do admire the look of it greatly. I’m not sure where you’d put it (other than in some kind of collection with a few others in an old mahogany cabinet) but it would look perfectly placed in any Steampunk laboratory I’m sure.
