I just wish I could find a bigger copy of the logo…

“Third Eye” is a piece by machinist/artist Wayne Martin Belger. It’s a pinhole camara that incorporates the 150 year old skull of an 13 year old girl child…

Now, what ever the moral conundrums of using bits of dead people for “art” maybe, one has to admit it takes a splendid picture…

Should one be considering constructing such an item I feel that it might be well to obtain the permission of the skulls owner to be immortalised in such a fashion…

(You may also wish to wait until they have shuffled off this mortal coil before proceeding…)

I am aware of how popular the portable communication device is with people today, personally I find them to be an appalling concept, (the device not the people …)

Should one have the misfortune to find ones self in the thrawl of such an item the least one can do is to make it a little more socially acceptable…

Why not use this portentous piece of whimsey as your message alert…?

First allow me to apologise for the lack of information regarding the Brass Goggles blog and forum…

There have been many issues of a technical nature to surmount, some of which are still receiving attention as I write…

The Brass Goggles Blog:

We hope to have the blog back to somewhere approaching full strength by the 1st of October (after we’ve sifted through the many, many contributions offered up for your dedication…)

The Brass Goggles Forum:

The return of the forum may take a little while longer as this is where the ‘issues of a technical nature’ arise…

But fear not as an army of highly skilled minions are at this moment being beaten with sticks beavering away at the various knotty conundrums that have presented themselves…

We hope for a favourable conclusion during October…
