Posted by on September 10th,2009Thank you all for your interest, over the ‘9 days of 9′ we have had over one thousand fo r this little competion, the last question of which was: Name the designer of the first mechanical ‘Difference Engine’, and the name of the person that wrote the first ‘program’ for such a device, the two people in question were Charles Babbage and Ada Lovelace; and the first name plucked from the virtual Panama hat was Zack Fisher, Congratulations, Zack!
